Gale Racer (ゲイルレーサー) is a 1994 racing game developed by Sega for their Saturn home console. The game is a port of the System 32 arcade classic Rad Mobile.
Like quite a few other early Saturn titles, Gale Racer is sort of a mess, suffering from terrible controls and an extremely short draw distance among many other issues. Under normal circumstances, the game is frustratingly difficult, but if you use an emulator like SSF in conjunction with a modern analog gamepad, it's not so bad. Still, I'd rather play Rad Mobile any day of the week.
