I've been loving this amplifier lately (especially through greenbacks), so I thought I'd do another short video to show what a great bargain it is. I just love the tightness of this amp at a very specific point of the gain dial: relatively low, before it gets too saturated--right in that magical "aunch" range. If you have a strong right-hand picking technique, it just does that super-tight thing so well. Jet City being Soldano's "budget" line, this is by far the cheapest amp I own: I think I paid $250 for it brand new, but it stands up to almost anything in my arsenal for this particular sound. I threw a couple new riffs together real quick for this video to showcase the tone I was going for. This is just guitar straight into the stock amp, no pedals or anything. Settings as shown.
