After weeks of heavy rains and flooding across Kenya, I visited Jeddy Farm to see how the crops were doing. Surprisingly, the farm is thriving. The onions and spinach are growing well, and our water pan is completely full from the rains.
In this video you’ll see the real situation on the ground: walking across the waterlogged farm area near the water pan, checking on crops, and harvesting fresh spinach leaves straight from the garden to take home.
Today also happens to be International Women’s Day, a moment to celebrate the strength and resilience of women who continue feeding communities through farming.
