Ring stretch wrapping machine plus conveyor technology - Mosca provided ASICS with everything from a single source. Our customer was looking for a fully automatic wrapping solution - and found the Saturn S2-D20 at Mosca.
The SATURN S2-D20 is a fully automatic rotary ring stretch wrapping machine for palletised loads. The film is automatically applied to the pallet. By rotating the ring around the stationary pallet and simultaneously raising and lowering the film carriage, the pallet is wrapped evenly. Once the wrapping process is complete, the film is automatically cut off and pressed on. The space-saving ring wrapper from our subsidiary Movitec wraps up to 45 pallets per hour.
A film clamp secures the stretch film for the next wrapping process. The additional cover film ensures that products are protected from dirt, water and dust not only from the sides but also from above. The machine uses various wrapping programmes to adapt the parameters to the specific product and load security, thus minimising damage and possible returns.
