The female is being referred to as (F) considered to be 5 and first time she has laid an egg. and the male named Lee was hatched in 2022 at the Seal Rocks nest on Catalina Island and was banded (29D) as part of the Channel Island restoration project.

This eagle pair is a success story, part of a bald eagle restoration program started by the Institute for Wildlife Studies in 1980. Their nest has been active since 1991 and has been streaming live since 2005.
