A.J Wells & Sons Ltd is a British manufacturer of signage and architectural cladding. We specialise in Vitreous Enamel - A durable surface finish achieved by fusing glass particles to sheet metal by firing it at temperatures in excess of 800°C. This results in a surface that is incredibly hardwearing to all the elements. The process also ensures that it is colourfast; so whereas standard surface finishes will fade or peel over time enamel stays as vibrant as the day it was produced regardless of the weather conditions. Graffiti can also be easily removed using solvents without affecting the graphics or enamel and the surface also requires very little maintenance making it an unrivalled product for the urban environment.
