🥃 About Vinjak

Vinjak, much like Cognac, is a wine distillate — a spirit made by distilling wine and aging it in oak barrels.
It’s currently underrated as a category, but it’s on us, the consumers, to support the producers and show them that there are people who love, respect, and value their work.

Serbian Vinjak isn’t fully standardized when it comes to the grape varieties used or the aging time, which makes it even more interesting — every bottle tells a slightly different story.
That diversity makes tastings like this one so engaging, offering a wide and rich flavor palette.

This video, along with the previous two by our friend Nemanja Stevanović (@nemanja_rakiolog), represents a real snapshot of the current Vinjak scene in Serbia.
We’re already preparing another tasting with 26 more Vinjaks, followed by a special “blind tasting” episode where we’ll compare the top 10 head-to-head.

🥃 О вињаку

Вињак је, као и коњак, вински дестилат.
Тренутно је потцењен као категорија пића, али је на нама као конзументима да подржимо произвођаче и покажемо им да постоје људи који воле, цене и поштују њихов производ.

Вињак још увек није у потпуности стандардизован — ни по сортама грожђа, ни по времену одлежавања — што има своје мане али га и чини посебно занимљивим за дегустацију, јер нуди широку палету укуса.

Овај видео, као и претходна два нашег пријатеља Немање Стевановића (@nemanja_rakiolog), представљају реалан пресек стања вињака на нашој сцени.
У припреми је још једна епизода са 26 вињака, након које следи специјал где ће најбољих 10 бити упоређено у „blind tasting“ дегустацији.
