🥗 Recipes in This Video
1. Healthy protein rich SATTU Laddoos
Ingredients:
2 cups sattu flour (roasted gram flour)
¾ – 1 cup jaggery powder (adjust to taste)
4–5 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
1 tsp cardamom powder
Method-
👉Heat a pan and lightly roast the sattu flour on low flame for 3–4 minutes until you get a nutty aroma. (Be careful not to burn it.)
👉Transfer to a plate and let it cool slightly.
👉Add chopped nuts(optional), flax seeds(optional), chia/sesame seeds(optional), and cardamom powder. Mix well.
👉Warm up the ghee and pour it gradually into the mixture.
👉Add the jaggery powder and mix thoroughly so that it blends with sattu.
While still warm, take small portions and roll into round laddoos.
Let them cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
✨ Tips:
These laddoos stay good for 2–3 weeks in an airtight jar.
Perfect for kids’ snack box or morning energy bites.
You can adjust ghee slightly for softer or firmer laddoos.
2. Healthy Makhana pepper laddoos
Ingredients:
2 cups makhana (foxnuts/lotus seeds)
1 cup sattu flour (roasted gram flour)
¾ cup jaggery powder (adjust to taste)
4 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
½ tsp black pepper powder (adjust spice level)
1 tbsp cashews (optional)
1 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
👉Dry roast the makhana in a pan on low heat until crisp (5–6 minutes). Cool and grind coarsely (not too fine, a little crunchy is nice).
👉Lightly roast the sattu flour for 2–3 minutes until aromatic.
👉In a mixing bowl, combine roasted makhana, sattu flour, pepper, nuts, and cardamom.
👉Warm ghee and add to the mixture.
👉Add jaggery powder and mix well.
👉While still warm, shape into small laddoos.
Let them set and cool completely before storing.

👉Pepper gives a gentle warmth & digestion boost, balancing the nuttiness of sattu + makhana.
👉Store in an airtight container; stays fresh for 10–12 days.
👉Perfect midday snack or school tiffin treat 💕.
