Plasti Dip is a great solution for car owners looking to enhance the look of their vehicle. The simple application process makes modifying your wheels as simple as possible. In order to successfully apply Plasti Dip to your rims, follow these easy steps!
First, lay out a plastic drop cloth to protect your floor from overspray. Next, mask your brake components with a trash bag to protect them. You will also want to mask the outside edge of your rims. We recommend using regular painter’s tape in small pieces that allow you to follow the round edge of your tire. The last piece that should be masked is the valve stem to make sure it isn’t sprayed closed on accident. Once all of the protection is in place, clean the rim as thoroughly as possible.
