VAC warning: HLAE is technically a hack. But it will keep you safe by always launching with -insecure to avoid joining VAC protected servers. If you're feeling unsure and would like more information about this, I cover it in detail in the full tutorial at 15:24 (beginning of "setup").
Epilepsy Warning: This software could cause fast-changing images/colors on your screen.
Uncertainty Warning: I cannot guarantee that this software can bring no "harm" to your computer. There have been rare occurrences of blue screens (though all PCs recovered fine with a restart). It's not even certain if the blue screens were directly caused by the software. If you're worried about this uncertainty, the best precaution I can offer is a "System Restore Point" or a "System Image Backup", which should allow for recovery in the case of a PC-breaking event.
