डूंगरपुर जिले के सागवाड़ा नगर पालिका अंतर्गत जितेंद्र शर्मा के नेतृत्व में प्रवीण शर्मा जगदीश सेवक और नगर पालिका के कर्मचारियों की मौजूदगी में शहर में पॉलिथीन धरपकड़ कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत दो दुकानों पर तलाशी ली गई। तलाशी के दौरान डूंगरपुर रोड पर संचावत वाटिका के सामने सेफी ट्रेडर्स से कम से कम डेढ़ सो किलो पॉलिथीन और पुराना बस स्टैंड सागवाड़ा ऋषभ ट्रेडर्स से डेढ सौ किलो काली पॉलीथिन की थैलियां बरामद की गई । दोनों फर्मो को एक ₹1000 के आर्थिक दंड से दंडित कर आगे से काली पॉलीथिन नहीं बेचने के लिए पाबंद किया गया। दुबारा गलती करने पर कानूनी कार्रवाई की हिदायत भी दी गई। आपको बता दें कि सरकार ने काली पॉलिथीन की थैलियों पर पाबंदी लगा रखी है इसके बावजूद भी चोरी छुपे बाजार में काली पालीथीन की थेलिया दिखाई देती है।
