Day 7 of the 2025 DHL Lifesaving South African Championships delivered it all — elite racing, hometown pride, controversial finishes, and even a brief encounter with nature as an injured shark halted water events at Kings Beach during the morning programme.
With gale-force winds and flying sand, conditions tested the physical and mental toughness of every competitor. Still, South Africa’s lifesaving stars rose to the occasion across both surf and pool arenas, continuing an unforgettable week of world-class competition in Gqeberha.
