As Kolossal and Cubix fall, this time not interrupted by Connor's narration, Kolossal saves himself by grabbing a support structure, inadvertently causing a leak in one of the gas pipes.

Cubix, meanwhile, transforms into a hover tank to fly back up, accompanied by a flowing, aquatic variation of his theme. Dr. K and Kolossal leave Connor with a threat, accompanied by the final statement of Dr. K's theme in this episode.

In the final 40 seconds of the cue, which later get tracked into more episodes than perhaps any other cue in the show, guitar harmonics provide a backdrop to a tense orchestral buildup on strings and woodwinds. Sewwix offers to get the gas regulator back online, before a gas pipe catches fire. Things look dire, the tension builds and builds in the music... until Cubix's theme releases all of that built-up tension as the heroic robot arrives to seal the leaking pipe! The cue ends with an unambiguously triumphant chord as Sewwix successfully enters the required codes into the computer to restore the gas regulator to full function.
