Agni-Prime: India conducted a first-of-its-kind successful test of the next-generation Agni-Prime intermediate-range ballistic missile from a specially designed rail-based mobile launcher on September 24, 2025. Unlike earlier mobile missile launches limited to roads, the rail-based launcher can move across the vast rail network without restrictions, enabling rapid deployment, short reaction time, and enhanced survivability.
