I previously reviewed the predecessor to this product during the infamous Polar Vortex a couple years ago. I want to thank Hillsound for sending me a pair of their Trail Crampon Ultra product for another round of testing.
This video was filmed at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas. The two-hour exercise features a lot of 'off trail' work, including a high-angle descent and ascent with no rope.
Outside temp. was 26 F and the environment was a mix of frozen ground, freezing rain, and snow accumulation.
Once again, the Hillsound product performed to the highest level of expectation. I hope you find the review interesting, or at least entertaining.
