11 years of (classical) guitar progress.
This video shows the progress of one student, with his specific talent and dedication. No matter how long you play guitar, how much or little you practice; whatever your pace is; everyone walks their own path in learning an instrument, and the most important in your musical journey is to ENJOY the process of learning music! (so, inspiration is great, but never ever compare yourself with others!)
11 years of playing the guitar is also 11 years of lessons, many concerts, playing in guitar ensembles, fun, making friends, musical joy. And 11 years of discovering all kinds of music, visiting concerts, playing on many different (small/big/huge) stages and saying yes to all the oppurtunities that come your way. It's 11 years of ups and sometimes a little down, but no giving up. It's the first 11 years of a hobby, joy, and a friend for life!
This video was made by Lucas' guitar teacher (Anneloes van Hout) to celebrate Lucas' final guitar examination, looking back at his very first song Mary had a little Lamb untill his latest ones, music by Telemann and Barrios.
