We did full restoration Mercedes Benz 450SL Convertible 1979. All restored original style interior. What we did:
removed old hard top;
removed old carpet;
cleaned and vacuumed;
installed new carpet;
installed new convertible top;
sewed new covers for rear and front seats;
installed new leather upholstery;
restored dash and console;
add new stereo system;
restored door panels and armrests.
Full restoration Mercedes SL Class 450SL it's not a problem for us in Los Angeles. With new leather upholstery, cobvertible top, dash and console, door panels - this car looks like expensive original classic car.
