In the past I have been somewhat skeptical of pens over the $100-range that feature a lot of plastic (resin, in this case) in their construction, but something about this one attracts me, and I think I'm starting to learn more about the many intricacies of pens that can help me appreciate them for different reasons. This one, in particular would be nice if I did have nice handwriting, but I like it anyways. In fact, the more I think about it, some of my favorite fountain pens are somewhat pricey and also resin/plastic/hardened rubber. It's a mental hurdle I should work on.

In the video I mention that I didn't know if the accents and trim are rhodium as well, but I conducted more research afterwards (a.k.a., reading the product description on JetPens) and it turns out they are!

For the record it looks like this pen is identical to the Pilot Falcon, maybe it is a new model to take its place.
