Muzhappilangad beach runs parallel to National Highway 66, situated between Kannur and Thalassery.
When approaching from Thalassery, take a left turn at Edakkad and you'll immediately come across a railway crossing. Travel approximately 1 kilometer further to reach the beach. The vehicle entry fee is 40 Rupees.
This beach holds the distinction of being the longest Drive-In Beach in Asia and has been recognized as one of the top 6 best beaches for driving in the world by BBC Autos. Muzhappilangad is the sole Asian beach to be featured on this list, with a length spanning 3.8 kilometers.
