Hello all
In this video I tackle the issue of the coolant leaking from the engine. I traced the problem to the water pump gasket but I decided to give the system a full overhaul - new radiator, hoses, thermostat, water pump, P gasket and fan belt.
Once complete the Defender ran much nicer than before. The old water pump had a noisey bearing and the new one is much quieter with no squeaks. Also it got up to temperature much faster than before and seemed to have a bit more performance.
