1992 Iowa Linear Recumbent Bike - Update

Описание: After sitting unused for about 2 years, this fall I restored my old Linear Recumbent Bicycle and made a few improvements to it along the way. This bike was originally made by Kann Manufacturing in Guttenberg IA in approximately 1992. Unfortunately many of these old Iowa built Linears are known to experience fatigue failures in the rear frame section, and when my bike started showing signs of fatigue I stopped riding it. In this video I show how I've addressed this repair, and also addressed some other issues on the bike.

Under new ownership, the fatigue issue is something that Linear has mitigated on the new bikes that they sell. I ride one of these newer Linears as my primary vehicle and I absolutely love it: https://linearrecumbent.com/
