The Alum Cave Trail is my absolute favorite hiking trail in the Smoky Mountains. I usually hike it all the way to the Mt. LeConte summit but today the weather was bad so I turned around at the Alum Cave Bluffs. This hike to the Alum Cave Bluffs is about 5 miles roundtrip with elevation. The views throughout are amazing! This is one of the most popular hikes in the Smokies so I suggest getting to the Alum Cave Parking Lot first thing in the morning.
