इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने यौन उत्पीड़न केस में शंकराचार्य स्वामी अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद सरस्वती की गिरफ्तारी पर रोक लगा दी है। जस्टिस जितेंद्र कुमार सिन्हा ने अग्रिम जमानत पर फैसला सुरक्षित रख लिया है।

अदालत में शंकराचार्य का पक्ष वकील पीएन मिश्रा ने रखा, जबकि राज्य सरकार की तरफ से अपर महाधिवक्ता मनीष गोयल पेश हुए। शिकायकर्ता आशुतोष महाराज की वकील रीना सिंह ने भी दलीलें रखीं। अब मार्च के तीसरे हफ्ते में केस की सुनवाई होगी।

This decision grants temporary protection while the case undergoes further review.
