Magnetic Leather faced jaws, or soft jaws, are a nice thing to have in your workshop. I used 4 neodymium magnets to hold some basswood jaws to my mechanics or machinists vise. After using some contact cement to adhere the leather faces, I routed some grooves in the vise pads to hold dowels, tubing or other odd shaped items. Perfect use for scrap wood and shop projects are almost always something any woodworker enjoys.
