Hello Friends! Welcome back to another beautiful day in the garden! Today we are exploring the 3D printed Split Cup that HoA made for me, putting my own spin on it, so to speak.
My Colors today are:
Golden's
Turquoise Phthalo
Prussian Blue

Pouring Medium:

There is NO Silicone
in Any of My Paint.

I was struggling a lot with using the spinner.. its not easy for me to turn it and be pouring a ring pour at the same time. So I decided not to use the spinner this time, and as soon as I decided that I felt a lot happier and was more excited about this pour.

I fill up the compartments and pour a puddle of gold, then white on top.. then I pour a wandering ring pour across the canvas and tilt it out. Lately I have been enjoying having a corner of negative space, it adds contrast to the design.

I really like the definition in this piece, the lines are wonderfully defined and the colors look great.

The biggest lesson for me in this pour was letting go. By letting go of the expectation of using the spinner I removed the obstacle that was causing me anxiety and when that was gone it was fun again. I encourage you all to try new things, but make them your own if they aren't working for you. You will be happier for it.
