Stratux ADS-B receiver works flawless with skydemon.
For years I was using the MRX pcas radar detector, unfortunately it stopped working properly a few months ago. The company who made these are out of business and no one seems to be able to repair these units. So I was looking for something for replacement, what I found at first were quite expensive units as FLARM and Talos Avionics and also I found systems of Garmin, all in the price range of 1000,-.
Then I looked for systems on youtube and found this, the Stratux, basically a DIY system, when you buy the components it cost you less then 150,-.
I bought mine assembled at Amazon for around 250,-. I took a chance because I couldn't find any video or review which discussed if the Stratux would work with my navigation app Skydemon.
So here it is, the first (to my best knowledge) video that shows Stratux and Skydemon working together.
Soon I will make a video field testing the device.
