effluant tanks not discharging

Описание: I was contacted by a local mushroom farm and informed of the issue they were having. The two efflant tanks fed soley from floor drains in the grow rooms had become backed up.

The first pump was in sorry shape and the incorrect piping used on the discharge side and had devoloped a catostrophic failure resulting in the fluids getting pumped back into the tank. New discharge plumbing, and a preventive replacement of the pumped fixed this pump.
The second pump, upon investigation did not have any power at the pump or floats. Recent electrical changes inside the building made for a long, difficult electrical trace throughout the building to its origion in one of the five panels. Behind the cover, floating just off the breaker terminal, the hot wire. Presumably this is a result of it either never being landed or landed without proper tightening of the securing screw allowing it to become disconnected. With power restored to the pump, it was discovered there was also an issue with the float alarm system warrenting replacement. With the pump tested, I was able to reinstall it in the tank. The client decided on leaving it partically disassembled for observation purposes to ensure proper funcionality over the course of the next few days.
