On November 12, 1969, ‪@NBC‬ aired another Motown special that was follow up to "TCB" in "G.I.T. On Broadway" (Gettin' It Together), once again featuring their two biggest stars ‪@thetemptationsofficial‬ and ‪@DianaRoss‬ &‪@thesupremes‬. It was produced by Motown Productions and George Schlatter-Ed Friendly Productions. A few days prior, they also released the original TV soundtrack album to the special. The special was filmed in mid-1969 and contains primarily Broadway showtunes throughout the program.

The special features a variety of classic performances from both groups, with The Temptations performing "Fiddler On The Roof Medley," including collaborations with both Diana Ross alone, and with the Supremes with "Rhythm Of Life," their funny skit in "The Student Mountie" and more. Diana Ross even had an iconic solo spot in the special during her "Leading Lady Medley" segment in the show. This would also be one of Diana's last appearances as a member of the Supremes, as she would leave the group and go on as a solo artist a couple months later. The special would go on to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design by Bob Mackie. The soundtrack album peaked No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 4 on R&B Albums.

Side note: Although the special was a success, the budget shows throughout the special. At times, you can notice the bad editing job in this footage.
