Описание: “(They Long To Be) Close To You” was written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David and released on Bacharach’s self-titles album, copyright 1971 A&M Records. The most popular version was released by The Carpenters for which they earned a Grammy Award, and the record went gold. The extended coda of the song was cut from the Carpenters version, however in this “mix” I extended it a little bit longer. The haunting, yet soft and delicate piano just takes the mind on a journey.
