In this video Dr. Ila Pahwa, Professor, and Head of the General Medicine Department, Muzaffarnagar Medical College is giving a brief introduction to our General Medicine Department and it’s basic functioning.

Muzaffarnagar Medical College's department of General Medicine teaches undergraduate and postgraduate MBBS students aiming to train physicians with theoretical knowledge and by imparting technical skills and behavioural attributes so that they can serve the society. At present, medicine department is teaching 150 MBBS students and 06 MD students per year.

Muzaffarnagar Medical College is promoted by Trust – Fateh Chand Charitable Trust and the Trustees are among prominent academicians, politicians and businessman. Trust is preliminarily taking initiative for the benefit of the society with the objective to provide and promote education in the field of Medical and Health Care services.

APPROVALS
In 2006, approvals were made from Medical Council of India & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Govt. of India. Affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut Since then approval were renowned in the year 2007 for 2nd batch, 2008 for 3rd batch, 2009 for 4th batch, 2010 for 5th batch, 2011 for 6th batch, 2012 for 7th batch, 2013 for 8th batch, 2014 for 9th batch, 2015 for 10th batch, 2016 for 11th batch , 2017 for 12th batch, 2018 for 13th batch, 2019 for 14th batch, and now 2020 for 15th batch.
