Описание: Our long-pending dream trip to Sikkim finally came true – and what an adventure it was! With bags packed and spirits high, we hit the road from New Delhi, excited for the scenic and thrilling drive through the heart of India’s North East.

Our journey began with the smooth Delhi-Agra Expressway, where we took a relaxing tea break in Agra, enjoying the beautiful weather. From there, we cruised along the Agra-Lucknow Expressway – a newly built, long stretch with limited rest stops. While enjoying our breakfast on the go, we made the rookie mistake of skipping a fuel stop… and soon, anxiety kicked in as our fuel gauge dropped with no petrol pump in sight.

Somehow, we made it to Lucknow, slightly detouring into the city for fuel before continuing onto the expansive Purvanchal Expressway. By the end of the day, we reached Arrah in Bihar and called it a night.

The next morning, our excitement was renewed as we resumed the journey toward Siliguri. Passing through Darbhanga, we soaked in the lush views, enjoyed a local breakfast, and admired countless mango and litchi orchards. A bit of unexpected rain made the drive even more refreshing.

By nightfall, we reached Siliguri and rested up for the final leg. The next day brought us to West Bengal, our fourth state, and the views became truly jaw-dropping. The roads led us through mesmerizing landscapes, and finally, we entered Sikkim – reaching the charming hill town of Gangtok.

From Delhi to Gangtok, this road trip was packed with excitement, beauty, challenges, and unforgettable moments with family. Join us as we relive this epic journey across five states, filled with laughter, breathtaking views, and pure wanderlust!
