Here is a demonstration of the ER4 electric reverse system I fitted to my chain drive differentials.
This unit is one of my IB5ATB LSD chain drive differentials fitted to a pivot type mounting cradle and the ER4 (2kw) electric reverse.
The ER4 electric reverse is for vehicles up to 550kg mass.
The electric reverse is for use on low gradients on paved surfaces.
The 2kw geared electric motor can draw significant current under load and sufficient (12V) battery capacity and wiring must be installed to get the best performance.
The IB5ATB was based on all new components including an after-market (Ford) IB5 sized, automatic torque Biassing LSD.
I used to manufacture these chain drive differentials under my Westgarage Engineering brand.
