1. Penetrating the Bible 1189 memorizes one verse in two days. Also during the weekends, we do not memorize a new verse and review all of the accumulated verses.
2. On the first day, we repeat the verse of the day 200 times, and the five latest verses ten times. (For example, if today’s verse is Genesis 1:11​, we repeat Genesis 1:11​ 200 times and Genesis 1:7-11 ten times.)
3. On the second day, we repeat the verse of the day 100 times and repeat from verse 1 up to today’s verse 10 times. However, if the number of verses exceeds 11 verses, we repeat it five times. (For example, if today’s verse is Genesis 1:11​, we repeat Genesis 1:11​ 100 times and Genesis 1:1-11 five times)
4. On Sunday, we repeat from verse 1 up to today’s verse (all the accumulated verses of that chapter) 10 times. However, if the number of verses exceeds 11 verses, we repeat it five times. (For example, if today’s verse is Genesis 1:11​, we repeat Genesis 1:1-11 five times)

The Tefillin YouTube videos are updated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. During the weekdays, the videos are ‘Today’s verses 50 times and repeating the accumulated verses five times’ whereas on Sunday the videos are ‘accumulated verses five times’.
Based on the day, you can repeat the video two to four times.

We introduce the ‘tefillin bracelets’ that you can wear each day on your wrist. These bracelets have the verse of the day of the ‘Penetrating the Bible 1189’ project written on them. As Deuteronomy 6:4-9 tells us, “You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates”, this is a bracelet to bind ‘as a sign on your hand’ to help remember and recite these verses. [What is ‘Penetrating the Bible Tefillin 1189’ Project?]
‘Penetrating the Bible Tefillin 1189’ Project, ran by Tefillin International Mission, is a 7 year-long project that selects and memorizes 1189 core Bible verses out of the 66 books and 1189 chapters of the Bible.

The TEIM started as the World Tefillin Memorizing Association in 2016 with the purpose of restoring the Korean church with the word of God and reviving a holy generation to fulfill the mission of world evangelizing. It has developed into TEIM (Tefillin International Mission) in 2020 and has begun to take part in missionary work.

The president of the Tefillin International Mission is Dr. Hyeong-jong Kim who is the vice-president of the Cohen University& Theological Seminary. Cohen University is a school established by Dr. Cohen, who has supervised in translating the Book of Revelations from the King James Version (which is recognized as the version with the most authority) into the New King James Version. Dr. Kim has been deeply impressed by Dr. Cohen, who is Jewish and has memorized the Bible, and Dr. Kim has been devoted for the past 20 years in awakening the churches of the era through Bible memorization.

Through ‘Penetrating the Bible 1189’ Project, we look forward to a second Reformation through the word of God being inscribed in all the people who have grown apart from the teachings of the Bible.
