Trains at Shinjuku Level Crossings, Tokyo - Odakyu Electric Railway [4K]

Описание: In this video we visit the two level crossings situated on the Odakyu Electric Railway outside of Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. It's crazy to think that such level crossings exist so close to the worlds busiest train station! The Odakyu Electric Railway has a terminal in Shinjuku station with these crossings seeing constant train action in both directions no matter the time of day.

We start with the level crossing immediately outside the station on route 414 which is a large four-track level crossing. The outer track pair serve the ground-level platforms 1 - 6 while the inner track pair serve the underground platforms 7 - 10. Here we see numerous commuter trains including the 8000 series, 1000 series, 3000 series, 4000 series & 5000 series trains.
The Odakyu Electric Railway is famous for its Romancecar limited express trains. Here we see some 30000 series EXEA's, as well as a 60000 series MSE and the flagship 70000 series GSE.

Afterwards we then head to the second crossing situated around 100 meters away. At this crossing the four tracks merge into two. We see a couple of more trains, but by this point the weather looked like it was going to get relatively stormy. As a result I headed to the nearby Minami-Shinjuku station to film a couple of bonus trains while I awaited my train to my next destination.
