In this video, I show you how to build an Adjustable Dado Jig specifically designed for trim routers (palm routers).
Cutting dadoes (grooves) for shelves can be tricky because plywood thickness varies. This jig allows you to match the groove width exactly to the thickness of your material, ensuring a perfect, snug fit every time without gap issues. It also solves the problem of using a fixed-base trim router, allowing for safe and precise entry into the cut.
