Studienkolleg in Germany can be completed in German public universities or private institutes. International students whose school leaving certificate is not equivalent to the German school leaving certificate are required to complete Studienkolleg in Germany. Studienkolleg in Germany can be completed in 6 months duration or in one year duration. If international students choose to apply for Studienkolleg in Germany in a public university, they have to go through the application process of a public university. They must not apply directly at Studienkolleg in Germany rather they have to apply to the German public university. Studienkolleg in German public university has an entrance exam. If the students passes the entrance exam of public Studienkolleg, only then one can start at public Studienkolleg in Germany.
