Описание: Dr. Lynne Isbell is Professor and Chair of the Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Davis, and President-Elect of the American Society of Primatologists. Her research focus is on primate socioecology, with an emphasis on the influence of predation and food competition on various aspects of primate social organization and behavior, such as grouping and social relationships among females. She conducts her field research in East Africa. Since 1980 she has carried out several long-term studies of different primate species, including red colobus monkeys, vervets, patas monkeys, and olive baboons.
