This is a time warp video of my drive along Highway 12 from the junction with Highway 89 to Boulder, Utah.
Highway 12 is considered one of the most scenic byways in the United States. Every turn of the road reveals a new postcard worthy moment. In particular, the stretch between Escalante and Boulder is breathtaking. Shortly after leaving Escalante, the road winds down trough a vast white slickrock canyon and then through a lush valley with towering red sandstone walls surrounding the Escalante River. As the road climbs, it runs along a narrow spine with 1,000 feet of drop off on either side. This is a good place to have lane keep assist.
If you are in Southern Utah, this is a must-do road trip.
