East winds from the remnants of Hurricane Kay moved in Southern California on September 9, 2022. As they strengthened, ATC was trying to maintain the normal flow at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), but Delta 1903 started the cascade leading to reverse operations. This whole scene played out during the Airline Videos Live broadcast from Imperial Hill in El Segundo, California.
