Girls Are Being Denied An Education

Описание: In developing countries like Cambodia, 1 in 4 girls is not in school.

Chenda* is 12 years old. She loves school, but her family has been struggling to afford to keep there.

While her mother searched for work that would help them out of poverty, Chenda moved in with her elderly grandfather. Instead of going to school, she had to do chores at home.

In Cambodia, and other developing countries, poverty and gender inequality are keeping bright and determined young girls out of school.
