1981 DeLorean DMC-12 Ride Along | Bring a Trailer

Описание: This 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 shows 5,700 miles and was acquired by the current owner in 2007, reportedly after the car spent over two decades in storage. Power is provided by a 2.85-liter PRV V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and the exterior features stainless-steel bodywork on a Lotus-derived backbone chassis. Service performed in the last 10 years reportedly included the installation of a DMC Texas suspension, fuel system and wiring harness, relay upgrade kit, stainless steel coolant reservoir, and door seals.

The Giugiaro-penned DMC-12 features brushed-stainless-steel panels mounted on a fiberglass underbody and a steel backbone chassis derived from the Lotus Esprit. The two-place cockpit is upholstered in gray and features reconditioned leather seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, a Craig AM/FM cassette stereo, a power antenna, air conditioning, and power windows and door locks.

Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level.
