Digging of the West Gate Tunnels is now complete.
Our second tunnel boring machine Bella has finished her journey digging the longer outbound tunnel that connects drivers heading west from the tunnel to the West Gate Freeway.
Almost 7km worth of tunnel were dug by the two largest tunnel boring machines in the southern hemisphere.
