Audion, the dance-floor centered alias of New York-based dj and producer Matthew Dear, has a new single out and it’s freakin’ marvellous. 'Dem Howl' features vocals by Danish singer/songwriter Troels Abrahamsen, also known from his featuring on 'All That Matters' with Kölsh.
Deviating away from his home base on Mathew Dear’s Michigan based Spectral Sound, Audion has reunited with Kompakt for “Dem Howl.”
With a remix from Joris Voorn in tow and highlighting the full package, the Dutch star has retouched the original mix with his signature flair. Troels Abrahamsen’s vocals don’t deviate from the remix’s spotlight, but are instead backed with a sharp bassline and poignant snare work. One of the quietest years of releases for the Dutch mainstay, “Dem Howl” provides a worthy original mix for Joris Voorn to impact his critically acclaimed vision on.
