I got a new guitar. Why? Because I wanted one. In this video, I take a look at the Sire Larry Carlton S7 Vintage, a beautiful new Stratocaster that I probably shouldn't have bought. As a beginner guitarist, I’m putting this budget-friendly Strat through its paces to see if it lives up to the hype as a great bang-for-your-buck electric guitar.

I'll share my honest first impressions of the Sire S7, from its surprisingly light weight to the glossy finish and vintage-inspired look. I'll also dive into the feel of the roasted maple neck and, most importantly, the sound of the S7 single-coil pickups, comparing them to the humbuckers on my Squier Contemporary Telecaster.
