The first new boss in Rank 8. Hexos is themed heavily on the game Super Hexagon, an action twitch game developed by Terry Cavanagh. He attaches himself to your character's face, roots you in place with Ocular Stasis, and begins a 2 minute channel, casting no other abilities (or melee attacking) for the duration of the match. You can rotate freely and always have facing on Hexos no matter what. Bright purple hexagonal patterns, or Death Planes, will then start to converge on you. If any of the lines hits Hexos, you die instantly. Since Hexos is always in front of your face, this basically means that as the patterns approach, you need to constantly be turning to face the empty spot - just like the game the fight is based on. This would be tricky enough on its own, but Hexos still needs to be killed, meaning that you need to perform your DPS rotation the entire time you're spinning to survive the death planes. You basically can't take your eyes off the battlefield, so make sure you know your cooldowns and timers by heart!
