On today's episode of Animal Diaries, we take a look at Momo the opossum, and I tell YOU why opossums make incredibly awesome companions! While it's not fully abnormal for orphaned or rehabilitated American opossums to be pets, there's a lot of stigma and myth surrounding these animals due to their appearance being that of a large rat. In actuality, opossums are gentle, beautiful native animals that, while requiring specific care, are an amazing animal, one of which I have the privilege of caring for!
