In what comes as a huge relief to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) management has expressed confidence that their Dhoni, will continue to play in the IPL 2023, despite nursing a knee injury that has restricted his movements. CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed that Dhoni has not indicated otherwise and will play despite the injury. Coach Stephen Fleming had revealed the injury after CSK's home match against Rajasthan Royals, stating that it was hindering Dhoni's movements but praising his professionalism and dedication to fitness.
