After taking a closer look at Alta's calf, you may have noticed she's lacking a prominent feature—her horn! Thankfully, it hasn't fallen off or gone missing, it just hasn't grown in yet.
This tiny tank's horn, which is made of keratin, will begin to fully develop around 6 years and continue growing throughout its lifetime. Chubby unicorns like to file their horns on rocks, trees, and other rough surfaces to keep them at a manageable length.
