‘Sick of the lies’: Sarah Henderson blasts Murray Watt

Описание: Shadow Education Minister Sarah Henderson has accused Workplace Relations Minister Murray Watt of spreading false information following a social media post.

Ms Henderson lashed out at Mr Watt over his social media post about Peter Dutton's wage policies, branding it "an absolute lie" and claiming Australians were "sick of the lies" at polling booths.

“Murray on his social media, I was so disgusted, you did a social media video saying that Peter Dutton’s plan was to cut Australians’ wages. Now that was an absolute lie, lie, lie, lie Murray.” Ms Henderson said.

Minister Watt responded, stating, "I'm happy to address that."

“I’ve seen many lies from you in my time in the Senate and that was a really big one,” Ms Henderson said.

“Australians, and they were saying this to me at the polling booths, we are sick of the lies and one thing that we saw from Peter Dutton during this campaign was conviction, courage and truth.”
