Spring is finally here but we are going through a heavy drought and the river level was at the lowest that I've ever seen. I went searching for golden dorado but with the low water levels all the fishing grounds were practically above water so no structure for them to ambush their prey. Luckily even though I didn't find the gold I struck some silver. Silver dollars were present and saving my day as always. Had a lot of fun with the ultra light fishing gear and to my surprise I actually caught 3 different species of silver dollar.
